Oversee the breakfast services of the hotel


  • Manage staff, participate in preparation of work schedules and assigning specific duties.
  • Train workers in use of POS system, food preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, and evaluate employee performance.
  • Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures in order to ensure quality standards and service.
  • Assess staffing needs and work with the Food and Beverage Manager to hire staff.
  • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with Food and Beverage Manager, and staff members as necessary.
  • Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
  • Perform some breakfast attendant, food preparation or service tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving foods and drinks when necessary.
  • Greet and assist guests and patrons.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service.
  • Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift.
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in kitchen facilities.
  • Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
  • Control inventories of food, equipment, smallware, and report shortages to designated personnel.
  • Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services such as waste removal and pest control.
  • Comply with all food, safety, and brand standards.

Perform all other duties as assigned.


Two years food and beverage experience, along with two years supervisory experience.
